> SaleAway lets anyone run a timed, pop-up online sale from their phone or laptop. Sellers list their stuff, share one link, and accept offers during a set window. No algorithm, no endless DMs, no listing fees. Buyers browse a single seller's sale, make offers on individual items or bundles, and arrange in-person handoff. Ideal for moving sales, downsizing, estate cleanouts, or any situation where someone needs to sell a lot of things at once to local buyers.

SaleAway is free to use. No commission, no transaction fees — money and goods exchange directly between buyer and seller in person. The app handles listings, offers, counter-offers, messaging, and scheduling.

## Core concepts

- **Sale:** A time-boxed event (draft → scheduled → live → ended) containing one seller's items. Each sale has its own shareable URL at `saleaway.app/{seller-slug}`.
- **Items:** Individual things for sale, with photo, title, asking price, condition, and optional description.
- **Offers:** Buyers bundle one or more items into an offer at their proposed price. Sellers can accept, reject, or counter. Offers expire automatically.
- **Questions:** Public Q&A per sale, visible to all buyers.
- **Guest offers:** Buyers can submit a first offer without an account, then claim it by creating an account later.
